L.A. Dreamers — Five Japanese hip hop dancers share their experience of trying to make it in Los Angeles in a beautiful short documentary from Dani Fortuny and Igor Kosenko.

Dani Fortuny and Igor Kosenko’s short documentary L.A. Dreamers follows five Japanese girls who all left the Land of the Rising Sun to try make it as hip hop dancers in the City of Angels.

Pushing past the expectations of their families, they all left their lives behind to chase a dream in a far away land.

“I really wanted to live that life and not just see it on YouTube.”
