Cut-and-paste masterpiece — Photography, illustration and live footage collide in a new Pale Angels video for their single 'Ditch Digger', off their new album Imaginary People.

For the debut single ‘Ditch Digger’ off their second album Imaginary People, Welsh-American punk band Pale Angels have cut-and-pasted a lo-fi motion masterpiece.

The video, animated by the amazing Jack Hyde, features photography – shot all over America and Europe on tours – and illustration by bassist Jamie Morrison layered over live footage of the band performing, and sometimes destroying.

Just like their first album Primal Play, Imaginary People was produced by Ben Greenberg of Brooklyn-based band The Men and is a noisy smash-smash of ten songs that takes their influences – Ramones, Pixies, Gun Club, Husker Du – and rehashes them to great new places.

Catch the band on tour during April and buy Imaginary People from their label Specialist Subject Records now.
