Terakaft’s unmistakable sound comes from the deserts of the Tuareg homeland – an unrecognised nation that has repeatedly but unsuccessfully risen up to fight for its independence in a turbulent region of the Sahara.

Their new album Alone sees the band going back into the studio with their traditional instruments but deploying increasingly sophisticated production techniques to engage more deeply with the modern world.

However, nothing can compare to hearing their thumping revolutionary desert rock live, so make sure to catch them on tour in support of the new record.
