AG Fest? — The open format DJ dropped a cryptic post on social media yesterday, along with a link to sign up to a mailing list.
Open format DJ and social media sensation DJ AG has teased that he may be organising a festival in 2026.
He shared a post to his Instagram Stories yesterday (July 16), with a graphic that read: “AG FEST 2026???”, along with a link to sign up to a mailing list. It also read: “Big Things Are Coming! Get the scoop first sign up for the mailing list today.”
The DJ, whose real name is Ashley Gordon, has become a social media sensation in recent times, known for his live-streamed impromptu DJ sets around London’s public spaces with guest rappers on the mic.
Previous guests have included UK rap royalty Skepta, JME, Flowdan, Riko Dan and Krept & Konan, dancehall and Afrobeats scene leader Burna Boy, as well as pop stars including Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and Jessie J.
AG quit his job working in sales in 2023 and began taking his DJ setup to areas around the UK capital including King’s Cross, Wood Green and Brixton. His work has led to him being dubbed “the people’s DJ” by Dazed, and the “most important DJ in the UK” by DJ and Butterz co-head Elijah.
Beyond his streams, this year has seen AG take part in the rebooted Red Bull Culture Clash, as well as opening the Main Stage at Wireless Festival on each day last weekend.
