Inside progressive surfer Craig Anderson’s nightmares

“I guess I’ve always for some reason thought I’m gonna die young,” explains Craig Anderson.
The South African-born Aussie surfer brings a refreshingly unique style and aesthetic each time he paddles out. In experimental short film La Danse Macabre, Craig wanders into the darkness with Desillusion magazine and blows the usual cheesy pro videos out of the water in the process.
Desillusion editor Sebastien Zanella spent a night with Craig in New South Wales, Australia, exploring his fears, nightmares and the blurring of dreams, reality and fiction.
La Danse Macabre grew out of Craig’s ‘I don’t do interviews’ article in the latest issue Desillusion, “Abyss”.
