A thunder storm threatened to rain it off, but the second day of Primavera transformed into a beautiful pink sunny evening as the penultimate set of performers took their stages for Day II.

FKA Twigs
Gloucestershire-born Tahliah Barnett, aka FKA Twigs, played her first official festival gig to a packed out crowd at the Pitchfork stage during sunset and her ethereal twisted R&B set a trippy tone through the smoke.
Jagwar Ma
Taking the Ray Ban stage at 3am is no easy feat but Jagwar Ma breathed new life into faded sleepwalkers with their riotous psychedelic dance even inviting Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa to join them for the end of the set.
Darkside
Electronic musician Nicolas Jaar and Brooklyn multi-instrumentalist Dave Harrington of Darkside faced each other for an epic sound-off that combined lights, beats and dark, apocalyptic vocals for a party that could neatly soundtrack the end of the world.
The Haxan Cloak
Bobby Krlic of The Haxan Cloak brought his haunting soundscape – samples and heavy bass along with distorted field recordings – to the Boiler Room tent where light projections lit up the dome like a disco planetarium.
The Growlers
“This shit is global,” laughed Growlers frontman Brooks Nielsen as he cruised through a good vibes set of beach bangers and garage jams on the sea-facing Vice stage, which even had a big yacht pulled up alongside.
