Free spirit Tommy Nease lives a nomadic existence, hopping trains and hitchhiking his way across America to beam back art and photography from the fringes of society.
Equal parts vagrant, photographer, and philosopher, he has the art world at his feet.
Filmmaker John Merizalde’s intimate portrait of his friend Tommy forms part of Dazed’s States of Independence series – a celebration of American pop, youth and indie culture.
