NYC Street Photography #1 — Cheryl Dunn riffs on Martha Cooper, one of the legendary street photographers in her new doc Everybody Street.

In the first of a Huck Films three-part series on Cheryl Dunn and her new NYC street photography documentary Everybody Street the aficionado and artist talks about legendary Bronx shooter Martha Cooper.

“Martha Cooper comes from studying anthropology and that’s what her photographs are really; how people live and how they’re getting on when they don’t have much to work with,” says Cheryl about Cooper. “What her and Henry Chalfant did with graffiti, no one would have had a document of that. That stuff would be gone.”
