The Commuter Journal: creative characters who love to cycle

  • Text by HUCK HQ
A Levi’s® Commuter™ x Huck production — The Commuter Journal is an inquisitive and inspiring publication that explores the culture and fashion of everyday riders.

Every day thousands of people around the world jump on their trusty steeds and pedal around the cities they call home.

Whether they’re artists, architects, tattooists, designers or activists, this rolling army are united by their love of the commute.

For many of them, cycling is not just a means to an end, it’s a way of life, and they are passionate about supporting its every evolution.

The Commuter Journal – a part editorial journal and part lookbook in collaboration between Levi’s® Commuter™ and Huck magazine – is a celebration of cycling stories from around the world.

As well as featuring the inspiring likes of Critical Mass Jozi, My Little Copenhagen founder Mette Willert, artist Andrew Pommier, and Canadian all-girl gang The Deadly Nightshades, The Commuter Journal also features the new Levi’s® Commuter™ collection, which is dedicated to providing versatility and durability for everyday bike riders.

You can find The Commuter Journal at select cycling destinations around the world and a selection of its stories will be published at huckmag.com over the next month. We hope you enjoy.
