Hundreds of skaters hit the streets of London for Go Skateboarding Day 2015

Hackney Takeover — Street spots, dirt tracks and concrete bowls.

Nike SB pulled out all the stops and put on a fun itinerary for the eleventh annual Go Skateboarding Day this June 20 in and around East London.

Over a hundred skaters assembled at Slam City Skates East and (after all initially going the wrong way following a little kid who shouted ‘Charge!’), they hit a spot behind Allen Gardens – off Brick Lane – a dirt track in Hackney City Farm, and then the concrete bowls at Victoria Park.

Huck documented the whole thing in the second episode of our series ‘From The Street Up’ – where we follow London local Casper Brooker around the Nike Euro Series – so keep your eyes peeled for that.

In the meantime, there are some nice pics to peruse above by the talented Elliott Wilcox.
