Goodhood exhibition as part of Shoreditch Design Triangle — Jake and Dinos Chapman, James Jarvis, Will Sweeney and more.

Goodhood is a lifestyle store in Shoreditch, East London, with roots in subcultures like skateboarding.

Since they launched in 2007, Goodhood has been committed to finding products from across the globe that reflect their passion for quality, creativity and design, and now – with a new exhibition titled The Art Of Skateboarding – they’re turning their curatorial eye to the world of deck art.

This show, which includes high profile artists like Jake and Dinos Chapman, James Jarvis, Will Sweeney, Ed Davis, Russell Maurice, Daniel Sparkes, Ged Wells, Jiro Bevis, French, Ornamental Conifer and Trevor Jackson, features original art that will be exhibited in store during the Shoreditch Design Triangle, a fringe event to the London Design Festival.

According to Goodhood: “With our roots lying in subcultures, like skateboarding, we pay homage to a culture that spawned a generation of creatives by asking leading artists and designers to contribute to the creation of a series of skateboards… We invite you to not only view the series, but also to own a worldwide exclusive, unique piece of art. Not only would you be expanding your art collection but you’d also be doing a good deed, as all proceeds will be donated to the Long Live South Bank skate charity. So come on down to the store and join us for a unique auction, exhibition and to support a good cause.”

Huck also have a show – Personal Truths – at our gallery 71a during Shoreditch Design Triangle. Come down the private view tomorrow night, Tuesday September 16, from 6pm.
