The best Mick Fanning shark attack memes to bless the internet

  • Text by HUCK HQ
From Jaws to Rocky — Mick Fanning survives shark attack by punching predator and paddling to safety and the internet produces a million memes in response.

Mick Fanning’s near brush with shark-shaped death this weekend at the J-Bay Open is no joke. But his courage in the face of adversity and thank-the-gods escape is something to be cherished and celebrated.

Of course the internet has responded in classic meme fashion and produced a ton of photoshopped funnies for us to chortle at. There’s even a J-Bay Shark twitter account.

Here are some of our favourites. Good health Manly Fanning!
