Putting Namibia on the skateboarding map

Africa is fast becoming a skateboard mecca as skaters push further into the relatively unexplored continent.
Last year French photographer Kévin Métallier dropped a dope edit from his trip to Ethiopia and this week we revealed the homegrown scene that’s blowing up in Zambia.
Now South Africa’s adidas skateboarding team have released video from their tour of Namibia, shredding hard in Windhoek, Swakopmund, Luderitz, and Sossusvlei.
It features Yann Horowitz, Khulu Dlamini, Dlamini Dlamini, Pieter Retief and Allan Adams going hard in Namibia’s unforgiving but breathtaking terrain in a slick 7-minute edit put together by Adriaan Louw & Leon Bester.
