Tim Nunn reveals surf photography secrets

Photo pop-up and talk at 71a — London Surf / Film Festival and Huck join forces to bring highly regarded surf photographer Tim Nunn to 71a for a special exhibition and talk showcasing his work.

On Wednesday 21 October, 71a Gallery will host a special evening showcasing the work of surf photographer and editor Tim Nunn. In collaboration with London Surf / Film Festival and Huck, Tim will present a slideshow of his work from across the globe, including Norway, Iceland, Canada and Scotland, to give us an insight into how he shoots in some of the most challenging conditions out there.

Tim started his career as a cameraman before moving into photography and has focused his work on capturing waves in some of the farthest corners of the Earth. He has also edited European surfing magazine Wavelength.

At the pop-up exhibition and talk, Tim will also be discussing his Plastic Project – an initiative to reduce the amount of marine garbage in the North Atlantic – as well as his latest film project. There will also be a screening of an award winning film.

LS/FF x Huck present: Tim Nunn will take place at 71a Gallery – 71 Leonard Street, Shoreditch, London EC2A 4QS from 7pm. Find out more and grab tickets (priced at £6.12) here.
