World's Best Surf Films
- Text by Shelley Jones

The intimidatingly productive creative couplet behind the London Surf Film Festival – writers, surfers and cultural facilitators Demi Taylor and Chris Nelson – are making life even more difficult for themselves and bringing their celebration of waveriding celluloid to Cornwall – England’s California – for a new festival Approaching Lines, featuring the world’s best surf films.
The three-day festival, April 24-26 2014, features a hand-picked selection of exciting cinema from around the globe and closer to home including “international premieres, award-winning features and the most hotly anticipated releases”.
We’ve rounded up a teaser of what to expect, from: “jaw-slackening shred flicks to stories and adventures that will stoke the fires and leave you dreaming of those approaching lines, stacked to the horizon, drawing with them the promise of sessions yet to come.”
