Surfer Jamie Brisick finds solace in the water
- Text by HUCK HQ
Rhymes With Shove is about lost love — a meandering journey through the spaces we inhabit when we’re unravelling within.
A pro surfer who once blazed a trail on the world tour, Jamie Brisick has taken the fodder of his former life and carved out a career in storytelling as a writer and filmmaker.
In this conceptual short film, he returns to the surf after a personal tragedy and loses himself in the painful no-man’s land between the past and the present.
Directed by Jamie Brisick and Isabel Freeman.
