The internet is trolling gun-loving Republicans with giant sex toys

Crusty old Republicans sure do like to pose with incredibly phallic objects. And this being 2015 – in the midst of a US election dominated by a racist blowhard continuing to plumb the depths of unhinged fascism – a meme was born. While the threat of ISIS has been undermined and ridiculed by the use of rubber ducks and toilet brushes, the GOP is being regularly trolled via one of its biggest bug-bears: sex.
Hot on the heels of the Donald Trump sex doll and the Donald Trump butt plug comes the inspirational Tumblr page #GOPdildo. The brainchild of Matt Haughey, a writer for the the collaboration app Slack, #GOPdildo posts images of conservative heavyweights admiring, firing and/or caressing enormous dildos, digitally replacing the automatic weapons once in their place. Among the Photoshopped photography is Donald Trump smiling gleefully while holding a double-ended dildo, and Mike Huckabee (of “we have not so much a gun problem, but a problem with sin and evil” fame) salivating over a giant rubber phallus.
